Voice Dictation

Talking to a computer that reads out aloud.

I have been using Dragon NaturallySpeaking preferred version 8 since 2006. It is a great help as I can "type" at up to 120 words a minute with an accuracy of 97% . As I do not have to think about spelling, I can just concentrate on what I want to say.

Version 9 works faster than mine and requires only five minutes training, (you have to read to it for about five minutes).

I would strongly advise anyone to seek advice to make sure that ;

Is it the right Dragon NaturallySpeaking product?
Will it work on your computer?
Will it do what you want?

I gather from other Open University students that version 9 will not run on normal 3 or 4 year-old computers.
