Welcome,


I am dyslexic, my name is Roy
and I would like to share my experience,
first a little about my life:-
  • Totally unable to cope with school in the Fifties.
  • 1999 Retired after Forty years dairy farming.
  • January, 2000, Started science courses with the Open University.
  • Discovered I am dyslexic, great relief.
  • Joined the Somerset Dyslexia Association and their Adult Support Group.
  • Screen readers and dictation software help me read and write,
  • while they are teaching me to spell.
Qualifications awarded,
  • December, 2000, Certificate in Natural Sciences.
  • December, 2004, Diploma in Chemistry.
  • December, 2005, Bachelor of Science Open.
